What We Did
Designed, supplied and installed a bespoke 83.27kWp commercial solar PV system, including feasibility studies, technical design, certified flat roof integration, installation, commissioning and performance monitoring. The project was delivered in collaboration with Bauder Approved Contractors to ensure full compatibility with the existing roofing system while protecting the school’s long-term investment.
The Client
Newington Green Primary School is a busy primary education facility with significant daytime electricity demand, making it ideally suited to commercial solar PV generation. The school wanted to reduce long-term operating costs, lower carbon emissions and invest in renewable energy that would benefit both current and future generations of pupils.

Financial Benefits
Following detailed site surveys and energy modelling, Silvercrest Energy Group designed a bespoke 83.27kWp commercial solar PV system tailored to the school’s daytime electricity demand and available roof space.
Commissioned in September 2025, the system has already generated more than 5.6MWh of renewable electricity and is expected to produce approximately 77,353kWh each year, significantly reducing reliance on imported electricity while supporting the school’s sustainability objectives.
